A qualified accountant with extensive experience in all aspects of retail, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution. Thomas’ several years at the senior executive level saw him provide oversight of 4000 employees; US$600MM in sales and near 750,000 square feet of retail space. His leadership success in the area of growth and development for Massy led to his appointment as Executive Chairman of the Financial Services division and eventual Chair of the Retail group.

Prior to the regional conglomerate, Thomas served and grew considerably the operations of an international retail group. As an individual with Caribbean wide experience in marketing, operations and product sourcing he brings first-class analytical, design and problem solving skills to Murphy Clarke.

Thomas is married and remains an avid golfer and traveller!

Leslie is the Managing Director of Murphy Clarke Financial, a company he founded and established as a multi-family office focused on risk management and impact investing.

Prior to Murphy Clarke, he held senior investment banking positions at Sagicor, CMMB, RBC and Scotiabank. His responsibilities and accountabilities included Syndication of Bonds; Asset & Portfolio Management; Merchant Bank Structuring; Trust and Estate Services.

Leslie holds a B.Comm (Finance); MSc Business Psychology as well as several post-graduate certificates and qualifications. Areas of study included Negotiation; Statistics; Quantitative Methods; Fine Art; English Literature and Dispute Resolution. He is a founding director of Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute, Dialogue Solutions, and currently sits on the board of TBLA (Trinidad Building & Loan Association), a family owned energy services company (H.J. Stauble & Co.), and a leading NGO (The Cropper Foundation). He assists and advises where he can in matters of strategy and those of a financial nature.

Four children; gardening; supporting contemporary art initiatives and meditation help to bring all else into balance.

Kriss is an Investment Banker who has enjoyed a Capital Market, Corporate Banking and Asset Management career of over 30 years, occupying senior executive and management roles in local and foreign financial institutions including RBC, The Unit Trust Corporation, Sagicor Asset Management, CIBC First Caribbean, Development Finance Limited, KCL Capital Market Brokers, Aspire Funds Management and Massy Finance.

Fareesha has been a part of the Murphy Clarke team since inception and has since elevated to a director in 2020. Her nearly twenty (20) years’ experience in the field of Finance, with specialty in areas of Liquidity and Funds Management, has earned her the respect of notable figures on Wall Street. Our treatment and consideration of various forms of Asset Management and Financial Engineering falls squarely under her remit as the Chief Financial Officer.

Fareesha is registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (SEC) as a broker/dealer and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Anglia Polytechnic University, which is complimented by Post Graduate qualifications in Financial Management. Her recent training includes areas of Financial Management, Financial Modelling, Family Office Operations and Risk Management. Ms. Majid has served on the Board of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad & Tobago (SDATT) and plays an active role in numerous charitable ventures through wholly owned subsidiaries such as The Investment Platform.

A mother of one young man, she enjoys taking him on trips to explore nature and broaden his horizon.

Ian recently celebrated forty (40) years of representing Sagicor Life. He is a lifelong member of the President’s Club and has qualified for every Convention since joining the company. Prior to Sagicor, Ian started his career in General Insurance, firstly at A.S. Bryden's and Sons, and then as an Account Executive in the Alstons Group, at Mc Enearney Alstons Insurance Co. Ltd.

Ian also served as the Honorary Secretary of the QPCC, for 15 years, and saw the transition of the club during that period. His concern for the health and wellbeing of others also led to his position on the Board of St. Clair Medical Centre (Medcorp) for a number of years.

This member of the Stone family is a graduate of St. Mary's College, in Port-of-Spain.

He has been a Director of Murphy Clarke Financial Ltd. since its inception.
